COVID –19   Customer Communication:

At Oscar Winski, our goal is to ensure that we supply products to our customers without disruptions.  As the news continues to unfold regarding the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we want to assure you that we are monitoring events closely and have been taking a proactive approach to maintain ‘business as usual’ for now and into the foreseeable future.  At this time, we have no disruptions in our supply chain; however, we understand this can change at any moment and therefore maintain an inventory to service and support our customers should that supply chain be disrupted.

 

OWC utilizes domestic sources where possible; foreign sources are minimal (less than 5% of our total spend).  Should the need arise, our manufacturing service centers have sufficient processing capabilities that would allow us to transfer operations from one location to another.  We believe our thicker inventory can also sustain through trying times as well. 

 

The safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers is our top priority.   To keep our manufacturing sites operating effectively, it is crucial to maintain a healthy workforce, and so it is our top priority to keep our associates healthy and safe. Therefore, we have reminded our associates of the importance of good personal hygiene and continue to communicate precautionary measures with them to prevent contracting and transmitting this or any disease.

 

This is an unprecedented event, the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak changes very rapidly. While the immediate risk appears to be low, we cannot predict the extent and speed in which the disease may spread, nor can we anticipate any governmental action that may come in response.  We continue to monitor and implement best practices throughout the company.

 

We are committed to being transparent and upfront on any obstacles that may materialize that could have an impact on our ability to service your needs. We view our relationship with you as a partnership, and we believe that open communication, cooperation, and patience between our companies is critical.
