Electronics Recycling Friday and Saturday, February 3rd and 4th at the West Lafayette Recycling Center
LAFAYETTE, INDIANA—On February 3rd and 4th greater West Lafayette residents eager to find a safe disposal solution for their unwanted stockpile of old electronic devices will have a convenient, drop site.
The West Lafayette Street and Sanitation department in cooperation with Lafayette’s Oscar Winski Company eRecycling will be at the West Lafayette Recycling Center at 705 S. River Rd from 1-5pm Friday, February 3rd and 8am-noon, Saturday, February 4th accepting electronic items.
Computers, personal electronics, game consoles, stereos, and flat panel screens will all be accepted at no charge. Microwaves, old style CRT TV’s and Monitors will be accepted for a $5 fee. Refrigerators, freezers, and dehumidifiers will not be accepted at this time.
Oscar Winski combines IDEM registration with the area’s first certified data destruction services to alleviate all of the most common anxieties holding people back from discarding their outdated computers, cell phones and other devices.
The West Lafayette Street and Sanitation department and Oscar Winski eRecycling solve the dilemma, giving West Lafayette the first secure e-waste disposal option from an environmental-recycling and identity-protection standpoint.
